Here are 2 very effective retrieves for this lure:
1) Cast close to the bank/ structure, and shake the rod tip gently to make the lure throw a ripple wake, keeping the lure in on the spot. Get crunched!
2) As above, followed by a slow continuous wind to make the lure “crawl” across the water and throw a wake. Fight the fish!
Ebbo recommends removing the split ring and tying leader direct to the eye of the hook. Others prefer the split ring… All catch fish!!
